PAUL CALLE by CHRIS CALLE

Welcome to the Western World of Paul Calle

Paul Calle has often been called a Visual Historian.

He says, “For me, the dimensions of art can be as vast as the wild, windswept plains of the West, as infinite as outer space and as small as the historical scenes captured on postage stamps.”

If Paul Calle had lived 200 years ago, he probably would have traveled with Lewis and Clark through America’s unmapped wilderness, recording in drawings and paintings the struggles of that band of intrepid explorers.  When Mountain Man John Colter decided o leave the returning expedition and head into me uncharted territory, Calle probably would have accompanied him.
